ResponsibilitiesSurface Maintenance and Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) was established to provide centralized surface ship life cycle maintenance engineering, and class maintenance planning and management. SURFMEPP’s primary mission is to maintain and modernize in-service ships throughout the ship’s expected service life focusing on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP).Under the guidance of senior SURFMEPP personnel, Corrosion Planning Specialists actively manage and tracksurface ship class corrosion plans during CNO Availability advanced planning and planning processes. The Specialists use standard operating procedures, best practices, and growing expertise to assist Maintenance Teams with identifying and tracking Mandatory Technical Requirements (MTRs) and related services during CNO Availability planning and execution. Junior Corrosion Planners interact with SURFMEPP’s Corrosion Subject Matter Experts and maintenance community stakeholders to address questions and issues during CNO Availability planning.Required QualificationsApplicants must have the following minimum skills and knowledge: Bachelors degree in a related filed. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours.
