Beach Sign and Design is a full-service custom electrical sign company located in Virginia Beach, VA. We are ideally looking for a shop technician to manufacture channel letters, laser cut acrylic signs, cabinet signs, vinyl graphics, etc.
Sign production skills are not required but are a plus. Wages are based on experience in the trade or similar trades. We are excited to train the right candidate. The right applicant should have a basic understanding of hand and power tools, hardware, materials, and machinery. Attention to detail is a must.
You should have high integrity and able to get along with others on the team. You should come to work on time with a good attitude every day willing to learn the trade. Be open to learning more and working daily to get better in your role. You should be willing and able to work on your feet throughout the day, able to lift materials weighing 35+ lbs., willing and able to work from a ladder, comfortable with hand-tools and basic shop equipment, organized and detailed-oriented, mechanically inclined, able to get things done both independently and within a team.
Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation.
