A wildlife control company based in Yorktown, VA is seeking a motivated Technician / Sales Representative to join our team serving the Hampton Roads area.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will perform inspection, sales, and light service work related to nuisance wildlife control. This includes setting traps, applying certain pesticides, and completing minor repairs (major repair work is handled by our crews).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections in attics, crawlspaces, and on roofs (must be comfortable with ladders and confined spaces)
Provide estimates and close sales for wildlife removal and exclusion services
Set and monitor traps for nuisance animals
Apply pesticides in accordance with safety guidelines
Perform small repairs as needed
Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
Qualifications:
Experience in home repairs, sales, and/or customer service
Ability to climb ladders and enter crawlspaces
Clean driving record and insurable under company policy
Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
Local candidates preferred (company vehicle provided)
Willingness to train in wildlife control
Compensation:
Income potential: $60,000–$80,000 annually
Company vehicle provided (if local)
