Job Description - Business Analyst/Data Analyst
Business Analyst/Data Analyst ICS is looking for a seasoned Business/Data Analyst for our client. We are hiring for a Business Analyst/Technologist to join us in support of a long term project with a commercial client. This role is remote now, but will be based in Hernon, VA once we are through the Pandemic. This is a Data Warehouse project and candidates should have strong SQL skills. This candidate must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and be comfortable working with multiple customers.- Skills Required
- BS Degree
- 1-3 (max) years of Experience Required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Daily Activities
- Manage communications with a broad portfolio of downstream data consumers
- Capture and report status of consumers transitioning onto target state data stores
- Assist consumers through requirements elicitation, mapping document creation, data comparison, and defect triaging
- Other Activities
- Document data requirements and communicate requirements to development teams for implementation
- Leverage existing data mappings to trace lineage of data points to their systems of record
- Support creation of user stories and backlog refinement

- Excel, Oracle SQL and Jira
