Application Developer

Role Description/Responsibilities: Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. The developer will participate in the build of a modernized platform that leverages back-end development using Scala, custom UI integration, and RedHat OpenShift technology. Experienced with back-end or front-end development preferred.

Role Details for Supporting Build and Deployments: Experience/Familiarity with Jenkins and OpenShift CI/CD Pipelines to perform daily build and deployments and ensure stability of the multiple TEST environments. Experience with tracking and developing run books/deployment implementation plans for promoting code to higher environments. Experience with troubleshooting application and complex integration issues Experience with connecting with multiple support teams from OpenShift, to DevOps, to AWS Operations teams to triage and fix environmental issues

Required Skills:(proficiency must be noted for all; 2-3 ct) Java Full Stack Development P2 - Intermediate Java API for JSON Processing P2 - Intermediate Scala Programming Language P1 - Beginner Angular P1 - Beginner

Eligibility to receive Federal Public Trust clearance

Candidates must be local to the Washington, D.C. Metro/Northern VA area - travel will not be reimbursed. Completed Background Investigation in accordance with Section 8.3 of your Subcontract Agreement prior to start of work.
