Business Analyst Location: Richmond, VA Pay: $43,680/HR Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8AM-5PM (Hybrid after training) A Day in the Role:
Coordinate inland cargo movement to include communication amongst all relevant parties such as customer, truckers, and terminal operators.
Liaison for procurement matters between branch offices and transportation vendors.
Obtain ocean freight pricing and summarize all charges to branch office for review.
Assist with contract renewal negotiations with ocean carriers.
Analyze market fluctuations and communicate data to branch offices.
Conduct market research utilizing 3rd party tools to assist with creating newsletters and customer market updates.
Assist branch offices with troubleshooting of documentation, operational and pricing issues, or discrepancies.
Create, monitor, and adjust Voyage Instructions.
Manage invoice approval for USEC & Gulf Ports.
Liaison for vessel incidents between vessel and trade management.
Interacts with other KAM offices, Vendors, and Vessel Captains.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
Experience utilizing Excel (Pivot Tables)
