Review the position below and apply today.Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.At this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer or sponsor a work visa or employment authorization for this position.This position does not offer relocation assistance.Job SummaryThis posting is for one position and will be filled at the level commensurate with the chosen candidate's experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities.May act as the team lead in the development of business continuity and crisis response plans, and will plan, schedule and conduct a wide variety of complex Emergency Preparedness exercises (Dominion Energy storm exercises, FEMA and VDEM exercises, Storm Training) to ensure organizational readiness in the event of an emergency (level II may require some leadership guidance to complete). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, program planning, leading training programs, drills and exercises. Supports and/or acts as Lead in storm preparedness planning. Supports Emergency Preparedness Center (EPC)/System Storm Center technical needs during restoration events. Provides support to other parts of the organization with data requests and information gathering, to enable them to make good business decisions and to respond to SCC & NCUC or other legal interrogatories. May oversee improvement and maintenance of Operations Center website as well as the creation and development of a SharePoint site. Represents the Operations process on the AMI Team in an effort to maximize all potential operational benefits from this cutting edge technology. Supports and/or manages the transition from the present AMR/Found On process to the AMI Restore Notification process. Coordinates with metering during restoration events to request and ensure AMR vans are used in the appropriate locations. Helps to monitor major storm expenditures for proper accounting and future deployment decisions. Provides support to the various Operations systems (SRRS, TRS, GIS, ARCOS Databases) as required. Maintains and updates Co-op delivery point data in SRRS and spreadsheet linked on Ops Center web page. Participates in the development of Storm Scorecards. Develops and improves operational screens, programs and reports using Power BI and similar tools.Specifically for Emergency Preparedness Specialist III level, in addition to all of the above:Leverages technical expertise and discretion within broadly defined practices and policies in determining methods, process, techniques and evaluation criteria for achieving corporate and business unit objectives. Provides leadership and direction to less experienced staff and may serve as lead or subject matter expert on projects. As project lead, may develop budget recommendations and ensure adherence to policy within budget constraints. Leads and facilitates After Action Reviews (AAR) and develops reports supporting AAR and restoration scorecard. Works on projects of diverse scope and complexity which require ingenuity in selecting methods and techniques for developing solutions. This position develops and maintains regular contact with various Dominion Energy Power Delivery personnel, state, local and federal officials and/or emergency planners to support preparedness.This position may be responsible for developing and implementing preparedness procedures and programs for travel logistics associated with emergency response related to the company's electric delivery system. May assist with strategy and development of policies, procedures and programs, and providing guidance to operations in the implementation of training programs.Position requires collaboration with business units across the Dominion Energy enterprise, regular interactions with leadership, and involvement with confidential and proprietary information and projects.Performs other duties as requested or assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & ExperienceThe knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:

Emergency Preparedness Specialist II Requirements: 3+ years directly related experience (in addition to preferred degree or its equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience);

Emergency Preparedness Specialist III Requirements: 5+ years directly related experience (in addition to preferred degree or its equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience)

Prefer in-depth knowledge of meteorology theories and principles;

Prefer in-depth knowledge of industry codes, government regulations and related company policies and practices;

Previous experience with fully executing projects;

Strong knowledge and understanding of company and department procedures and other business processes and functions;

Strongly prefer experience working with the ARCOS Crew Manager (previously Resources on Demand System - RoD), TRSi, and/or other applications that supports outage management;

Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to effectively lead and facilitate multiple project teams simultaneously;

Ability to quickly resolve complex problems and adjust work plans with limited supervision;

Proficiency in application of business process improvement methodology, benchmarking, and change management;

Strong customer service orientation;

In-depth knowledge of operation, maintenance and technical design applications;

In-depth knowledge of design and operation of complex systems and equipment which may be indicated by advanced certification or licenses;

Equally effective working independently or in a team environment;

Strong oral and written communication skills to include skill in technical writing;

Strong computer and software skills;

Excellent organizational and project management skills;

Skilled in evaluation techniques;

Ability to perform root cause analysis to determine the most probable cause of problems and undesired events;

Strong analytical and abstract thinking and problem solving skills;

Ability to process information quickly;

Ability to address multiple tasks simultaneously and to handle constantly changing and emerging priorities.
