Join our growing team and be a part of the highly profitable Skill Game Industry. In this energetic position, you will actively engage with local small businesses who need your help maintaining and collecting from Skill Game machines provided by our company.
Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help foster positive relationships while achieving collection goals efficiently. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to service and maintain skill games found at 20-25 gas stations, restaurants, and bars in the Richmond Area.
Responsibilities
Regularly visit 20-25 locations in the Richmond Area to perform a "Collection" (settling the money and paying the location their cut). Frequency varies from one to four weeks, depending on how busy the location is.
Document all collection activities thoroughly within our financial software systems. We have award-winning software that makes the job easy.
Handle repair calls with full support from our team and all tools provided. You’ll receive 3 weeks of paid on-site training.
Maintain strong customer relationships with the owners and employees of the locations where we have machines.
Be a safe and accurate steward of large sums of company cash.
Skills / Requirements
Proven experience in route sales or route management. People who have worked for companies that sell to gas stations, convenience stores, restaurants, or bars are strongly encouraged to apply.
Ability to repair machines if the hardware malfunctions. The machines are functionally similar to a desktop computer — if you can build or upgrade a PC, you can do this.
Strong etiquette and excellent customer service skills to handle sensitive conversations professionally.
Must be comfortable and trustworthy handling large sums of cash.
Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit a plus but not required.
Effective negotiation skills to schedule follow-up visits.
Ability to work independently while reporting regularly to management.
