Growing On Site Fleet management company looking for an experienced DIESEL truck mechanic. We are seeking a self motivated mechanic to travel to our customer's location and perform routine scheduled maintenance and repairs along with working in our full service shop. Must be willing to work various hours with weekends off. Job Responsibilities: Inspect and test defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions along with repair. PM's, tire & wheel, air & hydraulic brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical repairs and diagnosis. Performing D.O.T. inspections. Additional responsibilities of the Mechanic include: Communicating with customers in a clear and courteous manner Abiding by all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) specifications Troubleshooting and repairing all makes of vehicles Chevrolet, Ford, Freightliner, International, GMC, Isuzu, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Work Horse etc (mostly box trucks or similar). Must have a valid current clear Driving record, a minimum of 5-years on the job experience, ASE Certifications or truck certification, and tools of their own.
