As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be specializing in crafting specific types of metal furniture from diagrams/schematics. You will be using machines to cut and bend tubes, as well as punches for cutting. Your expertise in TIG welding will be crucial for most of the fabrication. You will be responsible for your piece from start to finish of fabrication.
Responsibilities and Duties
-Know how to maintain TIG weld machine and work area.
-Keep work area organized and clean and safe
-Operate safely all tools and machinery including saws, benders, punches, drills, and welder
-Read and interpret diagrams/schematics
- Perform inspections to insure specifications and proper welding technique
- Maintain tools and equipment to perform duties
-Use proper PPE and understand all safety requirements
Qualifications
-High School Diploma
-Able to lift 50lbs./stand all day
-1 to 3 years manufacturing experience
-Strong verbal and communication skills
-Knowledge of power tools
Monday through Thursday 6:00 am-4:30 pm
