HumanKind is a local non-profit who is currently seeking foster parents for the Roanoke, Rocky Mt., Bedford and surrounding areas. Foster parents receive extensive training, daily case management, 24 hour on-call support, and a tax-free monthly stipend. Qualified parents must be 21 or older, have an available bedroom in the home, pass a background check, and demonstrate willingness to complete necessary training and paperwork.
