We are seeking a skilled pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying and joining pipes for water and sewer service.Responsibilities:

Lay and repair sewer, water, and storm drain pipes.

Follow instructions from supervisors and implement construction plans.

Inspect and prepare sites for construction operations.

Measure and cut pipes to required lengths.

Dig trenches using trenching tools.

Align and position pipes to prepare them for sealing.

Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement, or glue.

Cover pipes with earth or other materials.

Operate heavy machinery and equipment, such as backhoes, loaders, and dump trucks.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a pipelayer or similar role.

Knowledge of local and federal regulations regarding water and sewage systems.

Ability to handle physical workload.

Strong attention to detail and construction safety principles.

Excellent verbal communication skills.

High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a vocational school or apprenticeship program preferred.
