Overview The Manager I manages professionals and leaders and is accountable for the team's performance and results. Decisions are guided by policies, resources, and business plans. The Leadership impact is the level of service and the team's ability to meet quality, volume, and timeliness of objectives. Direct/Manage/Supervise the development, implementation, and maintenance of life cycle asset management strategies that align with business objectives and minimize the overall costs of assets—latitude to make decisions to achieve defined goals.Responsibilities
Provides management for enterprise IT budget.
Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal.
Reviews software and hardware agreements and maintenance renewals.
Develop computer and software standards regarding lifecycle.
Develop processes to integrate financial, contract, purchase, inventory controls, and technologies with the IT asset lifecycle.
Oversees process-driven practices for accurate asset lifecycle data.
Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of hardware asset records.
Works with IT vendors to purchase hardware, software, and devices.
Maintain accurate inventory records of all IT assets, including tracking their lifecycle from acquisition to disposal.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to IT asset management.
Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Coordinates computer lifecycle replacement and management.
Oversees and maintains a comprehensive inventory of all IT assets.
Handles Enterprise Software license and software maintenance renewals.
Provides a holistic representation of enterprise performance as well as data trends or issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
7+ years of experience in IT asset management and desktop support.
IAITAM certification (CAMP, CSAM, CHAMP, CITAD, CAMSE, CMAM, CITAM).
Experience in budget/resource management.
Experience managing vendor performance as it relates to contractual obligations.
Experience demonstrating advanced skills in verbal and written communication with the ability to explain technical concepts to audiences with a wide range of technical skills.
Experience demonstrating skill in project management principles, processes, and techniques.
Experience demonstrating advanced skills with process improvements and process mapping.
Experience demonstrating skill in performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature.
Experience demonstrating skill in positive, productive, and flexible customer service.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing technical environment.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Experience demonstrating skill in people leadership and supervision.
