DescriptionAmazon Operations is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Demand Planning Manager to join our expanding team. The Demand Planning Manager will own the medium-long term demand plans for our US business and be responsible for refreshing our demand plans, engaging with relevant stakeholders including sales/marketing/operations/network planning/finance and achieving leadership sign-off. We therefore require someone with both excellent quantitative skills as well as the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders.This role will be a key member of the WW Business Operations Team. The team is responsible for driving strategic decision making and process optimization across the UK and international marketplaces through three pillars: i) Demand Planning, ii) Sales Operations, iii) Business Analytics.Key job responsibilities Support Amazon Operation's medium and long-term strategic planning discussions (6 months to 5-year time horizon) Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Network Planning teams to establish a consolidated demand plan in-line with our business planning cycles. Reviewing deviations vs forecast to identify areas where our methodology could be revised/improved. Advising on the demand impact of new initiatives/products Supporting the business case for expansion into new areas where we have minimal historical data.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Bellevue, WA, USA | Nashville, TN, USABasic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Statistics)

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and make insights from data

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to a non-technical audience

Experience using programming (VBA/Python) or low-code tools (Alteryx) to automate analytical workflows

Preferred Qualifications

Masters’ degree in a related field (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Statistics)

5+ years’ experience of working in a planning/forecasting team or similar role

Experience of developing high-level forecasts with minimal historical data

Experience with using market research outputs to inform strategic planning

Proficiency in SQL
