Prepare journal entries and participate in the month end close process
Perform various month-end reporting and accounts reconciliations
Maintain and upload financial data into the Consolidations reporting system
Maintain Intercompany Loan/Advance Accounts and Treasury transactions
Manage Intercompany transactions
Manage Vendor Rebate Programs and Insurance Reporting
Compile US and Canadian sale tax filing
Prepare quarterly external reporting schedules (RFIs), annual tax requirements, and governments reports
Assist internal and external audits
Participate in Internal Control and Sarbanes-Oxley reviews
Provide backup for account receivable functions
Complete special projects, ad hoc analysis, and other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Qualified candidates will have 3+ years progressive experience in accounting to include an understanding of U.S. GAAP
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to effectively communicate written and orally with all levels of management
Ability to work independently, handling multiple tasks and changing priorities while meeting deadliness
