Mt. Baker Mining and Metals is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our team. Join a family-owned equipment manufacturing company located in Bellingham, specializing in industrial machinery for processing gold ore, rocks to gravel, precious metals recovery, scrap metal, and related industries.
The successful candidate is detail oriented and experienced in a manufacturing environment, comfortable performing a variety of tasks (shipping/receiving, loading/unloading, inventory, palletizing product, filling orders), in a safe and efficient manner.
This job is multifaceted, and the skill sets you need will include technical know-how, leadership skills and good communication skills.
Performs all warehouse duties (inventory, shipping/receiving, loading/unloading trucks, crating product, filling orders, and completing documentation).
Time management and organizational skills: plan organize and manage multiple projects
Self-motivated, high achiever
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Operate forklift for loading and unloading materials and equipment
Manage inventory and assist purchasing
Working knowledge of tools and equipment: overhead cranes, saws, ironworker, welders
Excellent communications skills
- 2+ years related experience
-Minimum: High School Diploma
- Preferred: Associates Degree or higher.
