Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals is hiring a highly skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician for a local manufacturing company. You would be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and improving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems for production machines and equipment. This includes material handling systems, packaging equipment, conveyors, and various other machinery. Pay: $29-$45 DOE
Shift: Rotating shift every 90 days with shift differentials
Location: Sumas, WA
Position Type: Evaluation Hire/Direct Hire
What you get to do:
-Adhere to all safety protocols with a strong understanding of lockout/tag-out procedures

-Operating vertical mills, lathes, and drill presses
-Diagnose and repair machine centers, understand manuals and part break downs
-Rebuild gearboxes, bearing assemblies, and various pumping systems to remove/repair broken and defective parts
-Proficient at Mig and Tig welding
-Repair cylinders Hydro/Pneumatics with strong understanding
-Document, assess, and data entry into maintenance programs
-Refining processes to increase efficiency, calculate convey speeds, ratios, and the ability to use AutoCAD
-Basic understanding of refrigeration
-Maintain chemical balances, daily operational, and safety checks
-Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and the ability to troubleshoot
-Ability to wire and troubleshoot inverters, VFDS, and other electrical components
-Strong knowledge of single and three-phase applications
-Communicate effectively to the supervisor regarding any issues
-Other duties as assigned
