Project Scope: Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Network Engineer w ith the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:- Use Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, SharePoint, in support of work tracking and documentation.
- Create and maintain documentation related to the architecture, design, troubleshooting, and other aspects of our network and future investments.
- Enable and enforce documented standards and best practices related to network configuration, changes, use, and deployment.
- Implement and adjust monitoring to support trend and alert data as related to network and related systems.
- Own and manage network configurations, upgrades, improvements, and security.
- Work with on premise and cloud integrations and implementations.
- Provide network problem analysis, identification, and resolution of moderate to complex issues.
- Continual analysis of network availability, security, configurations, and usage, to identify and drive areas of improvement.
- Develop and maintain a production network/server capacity plan so that capacity can be forecasted, and equipment changes planned.
- Work directly with vendors and partners in collaboration and coordination of deliverables
- 7+ Years Network Engineering Experience.
- 3+ Years in a Senior and/or Lead Network Engineering Role.
- Experience implementing and maintaining Network and System Trend Data and Monitoring.
- Technical knowledge in the design, implementation and management of large networks.
- Required deep level experience with VPN, Routing, Switching, Firewall, Circuits implementation, configuration, management, and growth.
- Experience with Microsoft MFA, OKTA, and RSA.
- Experience with SDWAN (Meraki).
- Experience integrating, managing, and securing connectivity to Cloud environments (AWS).
- Experience in operational automation (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Bash, or similar).
- Experience working with local and nationwide service providers (Lumen, Allstream, and others).
- Experience implementing, managing, and securing Wifi, LTE, Cradlepoint, Aruba, and similar.
- Experience managing IP Ranges, Sub-Netting, and additional as related to existing and future growth.
