FirewatchPay: $22On-site in Bremerton, WashingtonJob descriptionA Fire Watch is responsible for monitoring areas where hot work, such as welding or cutting, is being performed to prevent fires. Their duties include patrolling the work area, ensuring safety procedures are followed, maintaining fire extinguishers and alarms, and being prepared to operate fire extinguishers, water hydrants, and hoses. They must remain vigilant at all times and report any potential fire hazards or incidents to emergency personnel. This role is based at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS).Skill Must Haves· Attention to detail· Communication skillsAdditional skills and qualifications· Must have or be able to get an interim Secret clearance (Yellow Badge). Can help get one but it can take 3-4 weeks once application is completed· Able to bend, stoop, crawl and kneel frequently in confined spaces· Communication skillsWork Environment
