Accounting Specialist

Description We are in search of an Accounting Specialist to join our team in KENT, Washington. This role is pivotal in our Commercial Insulation industry, where your responsibilities will encompass a variety of accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and inventory management. Your contributions will help ensure our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.Responsibilities: Prioritize Accounts Receivable tasks, including billing and invoice management. Handle Accounts Payable duties, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices. Monitor, manage, and reconcile inventory on a daily and weekly basis. Perform end-of-month inventory counts and reconcile in the system. Manage a shared inbox for AP and AR, processing related tasks accordingly. Oversee collections on AR and manage heavy paperwork associated with this process. Use Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning tools to maintain accurate records and perform necessary functions. Utilize Excel for data management, including the use of pivot tables and vlookups. Engage in Auditing and Billing Functions as needed. Utilize your construction accounting skills, if available, to enhance job performance. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with Ceridian software Proficient in Concur software Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Ability to handle all Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Auditing procedures Ability to manage Billing Functions Experience with Asset Inventory Knowledge of Construction industry Experience in Construction Accounting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
