Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Senior Manager to join the team in either Kent, WA; Arlington, VA; Berkeley, MO; or Mesa, AZ .This senior manager will lead Cybersecurity Operations for The Boeing Company, including the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT), the 24/7/365 Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC), and Cyber Intelligence/Advanced Threat Hunting. The scope of Cybersecurity Operations includes Boeing’s entire cyber landscape-global enterprise networks and systems, factory and lab environments, internal and external Clouds, subsidiaries, and supply chain. This role requires flexibility and an availability to manage a 24/7 team, occasionally including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will serve as a brand ambassador to the most senior leaders at The Boeing Company, government agencies, peer companies, and industry associations.This role will report to the Director, Boeing Enterprise Security (BES) Monitoring Intelligence & Response. As the senior manager, you will be responsible for setting Cybersecurity Operations direction and priorities, in alignment with the broader BES organization’s strategy. The ideal candidate will have broad experience leading similar cyber security functions at a medium to large multi-national corporation or agency. This includes the development of value metrics, standard operating policies and procedures, incident/crisis management protocols and demonstrated experience with vendors and contractors. The candidate will need to build and maintain strong internal partnerships with key stakeholders including Information Technology, Legal, Product Security, and other key business partners. This role will closely collaborate with a peer Global Security Operations Senior Manager, other BES teams, and security leadership throughout the company.Position Responsibilities:
Support the development and maintenance of information security monitoring and triage across the global enterprise
Partner with key leaders across the enterprise to identify and develop best practices for the security orchestration process
Develop and maintain metrics for the Cybersecurity Operations program
Ensure the 24x7x365 monitoring coverage
Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks pertaining to the enterprise cybersecurity monitoring program within the Information Technology Risk Management Program
Monitor information security trends and evolving technologies; liaise with external partners, to ensure that the organization maintains a strong, proactive security posture; keep senior management informed of any current or pending risks
Ensure the core competencies and training of the team are current and commensurate with the threat
Participate in tabletop exercises, develop, and train junior leaders on the team
Work with strategy, architecture, and operational teams to represent cybersecurity operations during the digital transformation and expansion into cloud computing environments
Support audit, policy, and compliance functions as they pertain to the cybersecurity operations center
Liaise and coordinate with legal, global trade controls, and global privacy offices regarding the security monitoring and triage across the global domain
Develop and execute departmental plans, budgets, policies, procedures and organizational technical strategies, goals, and objectives
Develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
Acquire resources for organizational activities, provides technical management to suppliers and leads process improvements
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manage and provide developmental opportunities for employees
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience leading teams
10+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
5+ years of experience in a Cybersecurity Operations Center with monitoring and incident response
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years of experience with project management
Experience in managing teams that work 24x7x365
Experience with risk management within or related to information security
Experience with incident response management, security compliance strategies, risk assessment principles, and policies and standards
