Wastewater Treatment Technician

The Wastewater Treatment Technician treats bulk hazardous & non-hazardous waste waters, in accordance with environmentally responsible and cost-effective ESOL policies, practices and procedures. Job requires maintenance of records, accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to follow instruction and to work independently once proper training provided.Process and treat hazardous & non-hazardous waste waters using various reagentsAttach hoses to the tanker trucksLoad and unload materials from tanker trucksConduct Tanker washouts as neededRun the filtration systems – Filter press, drum vacuum press, and various pumpsDaily record keeping and maintenance of various record logs and dataTrack information in the WNS programPerform general housekeeping and clean up duties as needed to include daily inspection of tanks and tankersManage equipment and conduct minor pump maintenance and repairs as neededPerform related work and additional duties as requested/assigned by supervisorPay rate starts at $25.00
