Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the non-profit sector, located in Kirkland, Washington. The role is for a Grant Writer, whose main function will be to secure funding opportunities and create well-crafted proposals that advance our mission. You will be the lead within the grants team, managing the flow of information and ensuring adherence to deadlines.Responsibilities: Lead the community and local government grants team, ensuring efficient flow of information Identify and secure funding opportunities to support the mission of the organization Write comprehensive and polished proposals for foundation, corporate and local government grants Collaborate with the Director of Government and Community Grants to strategize on grant opportunities Utilize your skills in ADP - Financial Services, Management System, About Time, Accounting Functions for effective management of grant processes Ensure compliance with all grant application processes and documentation requirements Administer Human Resources (HR) Administration duties as necessary Use your expertise in Grant Writing, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Federal Grant, Government Grants for successful grant applications Manage deadlines and ensure adherence to timelines for grant applications and reports Maintain accurate records of all grant applications, approvals, and rejections.Benefits include:

Proficient knowledge in ADP - Financial Services Demonstrated ability in Management System and About Time software Strong understanding of Accounting Functions Solid experience in Compliance and Documentation practices Expertise with Raiser's Edge, preferred Proven experience in Grant Writing Familiarity with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Knowledge of Federal Grant and Government Grants procedures Experience in non-profit sector a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred Knowledge of proposal writing best practices and techniques Excellent organizational and project management skills.Innovation starts with people.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
