BluePearl Pet Hospital Kirkland is seeking an Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency Department!A valid Veterinary Technician license in Washington State is required for this role. License transfer from outside states must be completed before hire.LVT Pay: $25.60 - $49.15 / hourThis pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system .We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.For example:

Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.00 Shift Differential

Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.50 Shift Differential

Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.00 Shift Differential

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest and passion for surgery and anesthesia. Experience working with a surgical team is preferred but not required for this opening as we provide training. The ideal candidate will be confident in placing catheters, administering injectable medications, monitoring anesthesia, and taking digital pre/post op radiographs.As a part of our team, you will be exposed to a rewarding and challenging caseload, ranging from neurologic, soft tissue, orthopedic, and trauma. Our location offers CT imaging, MRI, digital radiography, ultrasonography, fluoroscopy and endoscopy, an underwater treadmill/hydrotherapy, acupuncture, mechanical ventilator, cold laser therapy, and Extracorporeal Shockwave therapy.We have a positive learning environment, and our team has a driving desire to continuously get better, learn more, and perform skills at the highest possible level.
