Job DescriptionROC Operator is an engineering hybrid that exercises skills across many domains including: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and IT. They monitor, document, log and troubleshoot a wide variety of industrial instrumentation mechanical equipment, electronic monitoring, metering, controlling and signaling devices used in the operation of Building Automation Systems and Critical Environments. They command and control complex HVAC, lighting and mechanical systems. They must have a basic understanding of these types of systems.Come online, they will login to a couple of their servers as well as their email. Turnover with the last technician. Works almost like a call center, monitoring alarms, responding to alarms remotely. Receive calls from technicians onsite, they will call technicians onsite to respond to HVAC needs. Client comfort standard needs. They will do priority escalations, such as a lab getting too hot, fire alarm, lox oxygen.
