Analyze information to determine plan layout, including computer and peripheral equipment modifications.
Assemble and modify existing equipment to meet specific needs.
Build, test, and modify product prototypes using models or computer simulations.
Evaluate factors such as reporting formats, cost constraints, and security restrictions to determine hardware configurations.
Monitor equipment functionality and make modifications to ensure systems meet specifications.
Skills Required
Creativity, verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Team player and detail-oriented.
Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for creating technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Basic knowledge of telecommunications systems, including transmission, broadcasting, switching, and control.
Practical application of engineering science and technology.
Understanding of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware/software, including applications and programming.
Experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
7-10 years of experience required.
