Our mission is simple - to improve more lives!We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll team, this position is remote out of the Pacific Northwest ONLY. Job PurposeThe Payroll Specialist supports and assists with ensuring efficient and accurate employee data and payroll data administration in a timely manner.Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with employee transfers, position changes and location updates

Update direct deposit information and upload employee documents in HRIS

Help to maintain employee records in HRIS including but not limited to new hires, terminations, benefits, and other changes.

Assist with preparing and mailing payroll correspondence

Communicate with other departments regarding status changes and updates

Ensure FRHC compliance with federal/state/local laws, and taxes

Distribute and mail physical payroll checks on a bi-weekly basis

Support HR projects and initiatives as directed by supervisor

Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

1-3 years' Experience in HR or Payroll

Demonstrated strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the health care field

Working Conditions

The Payroll Specialist will spend 95% of their time in an office environment indoors. This will require time both spent at a computer station for office work and standing for training. The rest of the time will be spent at venues for events or meetings.The usual business hours for this role will be Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, however this role will require some evening and weekends to meet job requirements.This position will require travel as appropriate, approximately 5% of the time.This position will have moderate supervision.Benefits & Perks
