Learn more about our extraordinary teams building inspiring projects in our Impact Report .Project Overview:Bechtel is designing, constructing, and commissioning the world’s largest radioactive waste treatment plant for the U.S. Department of Energy at the Hanford Site in southeastern Washington State. The Hanford Tank Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant will use vitrification technology to process and solidify 56 million gallons (210 million liters) of radioactive and chemical waste stored at the Hanford site, which is a byproduct of plutonium production during World War II and the Cold War era. The project is the largest undertaking of its kind and one of DOE’s most technically challenging cleanup projects. Its construction spans 65 acres (26 hectares) with four major nuclear facilities Pretreatment, Low-Activity Waste Vitrification, High-Level Waste Vitrification and Analytical Laboratory as well as operations and maintenance buildings, utilities, other support facilities. The Waste Treatment Completion Company (WTCC) is a limited liability corporation created by Bechtel National Inc. (BNI) and Amentum. WTCC is a subcontractor to BNI, the prime contractor, to deliver the construction, turnover, startup, and commissioning activities for the WTP project. This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm with occasional weekend overtimeJob Summary:In this role, you will assist in providing professional financial and economic support services. You will conduct complex research on finance and investments, assist in preparing and producing regulatory reports, ad hoc financial reports, speeches, charts, and studies. Your research, analysis, and organized methods will contribute to effective business decisions through precise financial data interpretation. #LI-HB1Major Responsibilities:

Assists in providing professional financial/economic support services.

Provides research in finance and investments.

Maintains files and may organize material for meetings and presentations.

Assists in the preparation of reports, speeches, charts, and studies related to financial or economic issues.

Assists in producing internal, external, and regulatory reports related to financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as required.

Provides ad hoc financial reports to management, as necessary.

Provides financial analysis and coordination on a GBU (Global Business Unit) project.

Education and Experience Requirements:

A University Hire with less than 1 year of experience or 4-5 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Requires knowledge of accounting, financial or tax concepts and principles plus working knowledge of related activities gained through specialized education and/or work experience.

Basic knowledge of general business practices.

Skill in applying problem solving techniques to accounting matters.

Skill in communicating orally and in writing regarding accounting matters and problems.

Proficiency in PC use and common software products.

Able to develop spreadsheets with basic formulas.
