Established, independent insurance agency. Primarily Auto, Home, Business, Toys (Boat, ATV, RV, Motorcycle) Seeking to fill an open position. Property/Casualty agents license or agency experience a plus (if not licensed). Start part-time, moving to full-time. Family friendly hours, Mon-Thurs., 9am-4pm, Fridays (9am-3pm). Closed on weekends, and major holidays.

Successful candidate will have the following skill set or relevant experience:

- comfortable using automation (computer, navigating websites, office equipment, scanners, MS 365 products, Word, Outlook)

- written & verbal communications skills (we writes lots of emails, and spend a great deal of time on the phones)

- reliable attendance a must (if you have a history of calling out and or missing time, please do not apply)

- ability to be trained (we have been successful for over 2-decades in business; seeking an agent or for an exceptional candidate trainee that can adopt our philosophy of business and perform work consistent with our processes & procedures).

- PMA! (positive mental attitude). A personality type that believes the "glass is half full versus half empty." Enjoy's helping our clients, service their policies with a "smile."

This is not a "commission driven" environment. If you have experience, we have a competitive compensation package, paid holidays, to include sick time. In the event you are an entry-level CSR, we provide paid training, licensing, pre-licensing education along with affiliation and test fees.

Unlike many agencies that represent only "one" company, we have an excellent stable of both national & regional insurer's, making us very competitive. The vast majority of our new clients come from referrals of existing clients. No "cold calling"!

Position includes assisting, general clerical, data entry, customer service, assisting managing broker, answering and screening phone calls. filing and updating our client management system, with a focus on learning different insurance products, although until licensed, many activities are limited.
