Our Beginning is a beautiful Reggio-inspired and eco-friendly children's school next to the water in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. We are seeking Pre-School educators who are passionate, creative, collaborative, reflective, and a critically inquisitive lifelong learner. Everyday, you will work together with your Co-Educator to guide our students (ages 2 1/2 - 5) in the exploration of classroom materials and the local community.
As a school inspired by the schools in Reggio Emilia, Italy, we devote ourselves to putting the needs and interests of our children first. Rather than operating through pre-planned or mass produced curricula, we observe and document children's interest and mindfully construct each day together with our children.
Applicant Requirements:
AA, Bachelor's, and/or Master's degree in early childhood education or related field
Love for children and their general well-being
Experience working with children ages 2/12 - 5 years old
Have a thirst for learning
Team player
