Description A mid-size law firm in Seattle is looking to add a Construction Litigation Attorney to their Litigation department. This position will largely involve handling issues related to construction litigation, including procurement-related issues, contract administration, risk management, dispute avoidance, and claim documentation. Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with multiple partners, managing responsibilities for different cases. Prepare discovery and respond to requests such as admissions, disclosures, interrogatories, depositions, and orders. Attend and manage hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings. Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs. Communicate effectively with clients and managing attorneys to understand client concerns and provide sound legal advice. Analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and research case law, statutes, regulations, and documents impacting the firm’s clients. Utilize strong written and critical thinking skills to produce comprehensive and persuasive writing. Communicate clearly and logically with clients, courts, and counsel.
