Our team is building new Automotive discovery and shopping products that connect customers with their new vehicle of choice. We’re developing new customer experiences and seller tools to support the entire vehicle discovery journey.We are seeking a Sr. Content Strategist to sit within our Vehicle Sales Team to be responsible for owning and executing the content strategy for our primary sellers, car dealership partners. This multi-faceted role requires the ability to work backwards from ambiguous requirements and determine the best approach to deliver results utilizing new and existing tools.This role will work directly with key stakeholders including sellers, product teams, business development, and senior leadership to create content that gives sellers the tools they need to be successful.A successful candidate will have excellent writing and editing skills, attention to detail, a collaborative working style and a passion for driving meaningful industry change.Key job responsibilities

Strategic planning: Own and build scalable communications and go-to-market strategies for dealers, including roadmaps, channels and announcing new features.

Platform Management: Manage overall content/communication technology eco-system (platforms, systems, tools), such as Salesforce Pardot. Create a strategy to produce compelling content including (but not limited to) email newsletters, videos, and digital broadcasts.

Change Management: Establish mechanisms to intake new content, review by appropriate channels, and release at the right time for maximum impact. Own seller change management and ensure content consistency across channels.

Content Development: Develop a new suite of content that ensures dealers are able to successfully onboard, use our tools, and meet our customer experience standards. Manage content libraries such as the seller resource hub.

Email Comms: Identify, develop and implement scalable solutions for improved email channel performance, including personalization and channel best practices.

Continuous Improvement: Leverage data to monitor success, analyze performance and drive engagement over time.

Writing: Create content for the dealer community with an obsession for quality, accuracy, and engagement.

This role requires business travel up to 15%A day in the lifeThis role will play a critical part in ensuring sellers are engaged, informed, and providing excellent customer experiences for our customers. This Sr. Content Strategist will balance urgent business needs with building long term scalable solutions. In a day they may be editing and writing a communication about a new feature release, reporting on email engagement, and working with content creators on a new seller content. They proactively partner to anticipate communication needs while establishing mechanisms that will enable us to scale our content management with the business.About the teamWe are a newly formed team with a vision to create innovative discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. We’re collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for products in the complex automotive space. This role is part of the Vehicle Sales team.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Arlington, VA, USA | New York, NY, USA | Seattle, WA, USABasic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field

5+ years of experience in content creation and content strategy (a portfolio is required).

5+ years of experience writing for business and technical audiences.

Experience with diverse content management systems.

Experience with content marketing fundamentals (including SEO)

5+ years of experience managing content projects, including coordinating with other teams

Track record of creating content strategy for various consumer audiences and product categories

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Salesforce

Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

Automotive industry experience

Experience owning and implementing programs related to online content strategy, content delivery tools, content taxonomy and classification and/or the user experience with content.

Excellent oral and written communicator, comfortable with senior management visibility

Project management skills and experience, including managing stakeholders and multiple projects at once

High attention to detail including precise and effective stakeholder communications

Experience executing a multichannel content strategy

Ability to navigate ambiguous situations with minimal guidance and manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market.
