Looking for a professional, licensed, and trained caregiver. Ideal candidate will have solid communication skills, be reliable, compassionate, have integrity and be a trusted companion. Great communication skills and a sense of humor is a bonus. Ability to anticipate care, offer suggestions to make clients life easier. Person in need of care is age 60, totally disabled and in a power wheelchair, but has full cognitive ability and very social. Candidates must have their own transportation to and from clients home. This is a W-2 position and only candidates that have the ability to have taxes withheld will be considered.
Monday evening, 6 PM to 6 AM ($300)
Tuesday evening, 6 PM to 6 AM ($300)
Wednesday evening, 6 PM to 6 AM ($300)
Saturday morning, 7 AM to 1 PM
Sunday morning, 7 AM to 1 PM
Additional part-time shifts may become available in the future.
Job requirements:
Make a light meals for the client. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Assist with daily living activities.
Drive the client to and from shopping, social activities, and doctor appointments
Experience using a Hoyer lift
Perform light housekeeping, dusting, laundry, cleaning kitchen and putting dishes away, and other activities around the apartment.
Must hold a home health aide or certified nurse's aide license
Must have current first aid/CPR certifications.
Must be able to pass the background check
Must have a valid drivers license and insurance.
