Hello! My name is Ian, and I am a C-1 tetraplegic. I am a 38yo male (he/him). I am married and have elementary-age twins. I am seeking a nurse who is willing to work with a fully ventilator-dependent patient who uses a wheelchair. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree online. I like getting out to run errands and other things. I also have different hobbies that I need a pair of hands for!
I am posting this ad so that I may interview nurses independently and then recommend them for hire through my nursing agency. I WILL NOT BE HIRING YOU DIRECTLY. I need multiple shifts per week to be filled. Due to my vent dependency, I cannot be left alone.
The shifts are 7:30 am to 9:30 pm, days TBD. Tasks required would be administration of medications, food prep, daily hygiene routine, dressing changes, light housekeeping, driving, and various other tasks. No ventilator experience is necessary.
