Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Sterilization Technician to join our team. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our dental equipment and instruments. Your primary responsibility will be to sterilize and maintain the integrity of all dental supplies used in our facility.

Duties:

- Perform sterilization procedures on dental instruments and equipment following established protocols and guidelines

- Operate autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and other sterilization equipment

- Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage

- Assemble instrument sets and ensure proper packaging for sterilization

- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper handling and storage of sterile supplies

- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies as needed

- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred

- Knowledge of aseptic technique and medical terminology

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals

Please note that all positions at our facility are paid positions, including internships.

Job Type: Full-time (34 hours per week)
