Environmental Remedies Inc. (ERI) is a rapidly growing, quality driven asbestos abatement contractor looking for detail orientated, motivated and experienced individuals who want to grow with the business.

A successful “asbestos worker” with ERI would possess time management skills, reliability, and ability to work in a team setting. Workers will play a critical role in completing abatement projects while complying with federal and local asbestos abatement laws and guidelines. ERI believes strongly in investing in our team and offers significant growth potential.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour DOE

Work Location: Multiple Locations. Based out of Mukilteo

Hours/Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 4:00PM (occasionally weekends)

Daily tasks include:

Traveling to one or two local job sites.

Constructing containment areas prior to beginning abatement.

Removing hazardous building materials from surfaces, structures, or equipment using hand or power tools.

Cleaning work areas, tools, and equipment.

Loading or unloading materials or waste into containers or onto trucks.

Qualifications and Experience:

Must possess a AHERA Asbestos Worker or Supervisor Certification.

Preferred previous abatement experience.

Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.

Ability to work in confined areas in extreme temperatures.

Ability to perform heavy physical work over prolonged periods.

Ability to comprehend and follow the safety procedures required to handle asbestos-containing materials.

Ability to work in safety clothing and respiratory equipment.

Ability to use the tools, materials and equipment used in general construction work.

Must be able to pass a physical examination as required by state and federal regulations at the time of appointment.

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

Overtime
