Home Staging Mover / Driver – Experience Preferred (Seattle Area)
Established Seattle home staging company is hiring a Mover/Driver. This position is physically demanding, fast-paced, and detail-driven. It is not an entry-level role. Please do not apply if you lack professional home staging moving experience or cannot meet the requirements below.
This role requires:
Daily lifting of 75–100+ lbs
Ability to load and pack a box truck with care, efficiency, and logic
Strong awareness of inventory sets and jobsite details
Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team without constant supervision and direction
Staying focused and on task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Professional attitude and appearance on job sites, while driving the truck, and at the warehouse
Additional duties include:
Hanging artwork accurately
Touching up and adjusting furniture
Moving furniture through homes without damaging them
Maintaining cleanliness and professionalism at all times
Requirements:
Professional moving experience (home staging experience strongly preferred)
Clean-cut, professional appearance
Drug-free
Reliable personal transportation (to/from warehouse)
Cell phone
Valid driver’s license
Comfortable driving a box truck
Must pass background and driving record checks
Pay:
$26–$35/hour
Starting pay is based on verified experience, efficiency, and trial-week performance
Important logistics:
Warehouse location: near Sea-Tac Airport
All workdays begin and end at the warehouse
You will park your personal vehicle there and drive or ride in our box truck to job sites
Work covers the greater Seattle area
Work hours - 10am - 6pm on average M-F
This work is an Independant Contractor position, if you make over $11,000 per year with the company you will be required to obtain a business license.
Trial Week & Probation:
Qualified candidates will be required to complete a paid trial week
Trial week is used to assess physical capability, efficiency, organization, reliabilty and attention to detail
Successful candidates will move into a 30–60 day probationary period
Continued Independant Contractor referral work is based on performance, reliability, and teamwork
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in hard work, organization, and doing things right the first time. If you are looking for light labor, training from the ground up, or a slow-paced job, this is not the position for you.
