Welder

Welds locomotive components, heavy plate, and sheet metal such as underframe structures, end plates, bridge plates, and any other welding maintenance needed on rail cars or rail equipment within the facility; utilizing welders, cutting torches, grinders, cutoff tools, and other equipment needed to complete repairs or maintenance. All welders will be certified as required, under AAR standards. When welding repairs or maintenance is not available or necessary, the welder will work in “Rail”
