PROPERTY MANAGER for a low income manufactured housing community. Duties include rent collection, logging payments and issuing
receipts, writing and issuing notices and pursuing delinquent rent and fees. This position
also includes resident turnover and change, by screening and certifying incoming
applicants and signing leases. The property manager shall deal with household
turnover and market empty manufactured housing spaces and vacant apartments. The property manager will coordinate routine maintenance and emergent situations with
staff and others. The property manager is responsible to create a pleasant
and safe community environment by listening to residents and responding to their
concerns, observing and investigating problems, and issuing verbal reminders and
warnings. The property manager informs Headquarters of problems and
attends community and resident meetings. The property manager writes and
serves official Notices and creates and distributes general notices.
Training will be provided as necessary to understand budgetary limits and legal
constraints, to learn the companies standard procedures and forms, compilation of resident files
and other tasks.
REQUIREMENTS: Property management experience is required. Basic
computer skills are also necessary. Any maintenance and/or handyman skills will be
taken into consideration. I.T. skills will be useful and taken into consideration. English
language literacy is required; other language skills are a plus. Dependable transportation
is required (mileage costs are reimbursed).
SALARY: Depends on Property Management Experience, Vietnamese and/or Cham
language skills and maintenance skills. Salary Range $55k-$60k; includes health insurance, 2% retirement contribution, paid 11 holidays, and generous vacation policy
