The Account Service Specialist is responsible for ongoing service, account management, and communication with the established clients of AristaPoint. We provide in depth industry, product, and account service training. The Account Service Specialist will work with Consultants, clients and in-house staff on benefit coverage’s, service and eligibility as it pertains to employer groups and the employee benefits plans they provide. This position is expected to provide exceptional service and client education. Preparing and presenting recommendations and advising clients on new or renewing services and products to meet their unique needs with a focus on client satisfaction. This position collaborates with internal and external partners to assess client needs while using a structured and coordinated process, with a focus on improving business’s health care decision making and to support value based purchasing for employer groups.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Account Management

Provide the best possible service, advice and guidance to clients.

Explain employee benefit plan details to clients.

Be available for group support for any question that may arise.

Provide employee benefit meetings and answer questions about benefits.

Conduct pre-renewal calls to clients; consult on plan details and future continuing business.

Conduct post-renewal calls to clients.

Consult with clients on the use of the E-Service portal.

Follow the Account Service timeline.

Comply with underwriting guidelines.

Comply with all group administration policies and procedures.

Prepare and present recommendations to new and renewing groups.

Follow the core values of the company to fulfill the Mission Statement of the Company.

Consultant Support

Assist with benefit meetings, providing materials for Consultants before, during, and after meetings.

Conduct benefit meeting presentations in partnership with Consultants.

Assist with enrollment process of groups, and verify forms and applications for accuracy.

Assist Consultants with renewal questions, forms and/or guidance to insure a smooth and timely renewal process.

Attend and participate in strategic client meetings on an ongoing basis.

Accurately prepare materials and information for all client communication.

Set up, maintain and update data for client accounts and benefits

Explain benefit materials to clients, including contracts, booklets, forms and regulations.

Prepare presentations and meeting materials.

Cross¬-refer clients to other divisions and services of the company.

Complete renewals on time.

Additional Responsibilities:

Follow personal productivity processes and procedures.

Submit required weekly analytics reports when due.

Complete other reports as requested in a timely manner.

Meet or exceed company expectations of employees.

Meet or exceed Producer/Consultant educational standards.

Attend events to represent the company as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 12 months of Account Service experience required.

College degree or 4 years work experience preferred.

Must hold life and disability insurance license and meet the CE requirements.

Strong working knowledge of MS Office and data base entry.

Strong presentation skills are required.

Excellent organization and communication skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.

Be highly motivated with a great deal of personal initiative and drive.

High level of energy with a positive attitude.

Ability to set goals, maintain focus and follow-¬through on tasks.

Ability to independently manage schedules, workflow and workloads.
