The Scott Rinckenberger Gallery is seeking an enthusiastic gallery sales associate to help promote and grow an exciting new fine art photography gallery in the foothills of the Cascades.

The ideal candidate will be right at home where art and creativity intersect with outdoor adventure, mountain lifestyle, as well as local community-building in this beautiful new gallery space in the charming town of North Bend.

Ideal candidate will possess:

- High-end sales, retail, promotion experience or art gallery experience

- Proven communication, time management & organizational skills

- A strong knowledge of art or photography

- Event coordinator, social media, content/digital marketing and/or email marketing experience

- Comfort in Shopify POS System & experience in backend of Shopify online sales platform

- Familiarity with Squarespace website platform and/or Adobe Creative Suite

- Passion for outdoor adventure & appreciation of fine art photography

- Knowledge of the local area, landscapes, trails & outdoor access

- Ability to work independently, a self-starter approach, self-management skills and a friendly, upbeat attitude

Responsibilities include:

- Sales: Foster leads, build relationships with clients and secure sales on the gallery floor, online, and through social media

- Marketing: Participate in the management of social media, digital marketing and website upkeep including blogs and newsletters

- Client Relations: Curate, build and maintain an active roster of clients and collectors with whom you stay in contact and build relationships

- Space Rental: Market and manage gallery space as a rental venue for events, private parties and other gatherings.

- Community Building: Make introductions and foster relationships with area businesses, arts organizations, collectors, clients and collaborators

- Commitment: Approximately 12-18 hours per week including weekends and special evening events.
