Journeyman Electrician
Responsibilities
Perform residential wiring, panel upgrades, service changes, and full home rewires
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform repairs safely and accurately
Lead and train apprentices on job sites
Ensure work meets NEC requirements and local codes
Maintain a clean, safe job site and communicate effectively with homeowners and team members
Requirements
Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific)
3–5+ years residential electrical experience preferred
Strong knowledge of NEC and local building codes
Ability to work independently and manage small crews
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong communication and customer-service skills

Electrical Apprentice
Responsibilities
Assist journeyman electricians with rough-in, trim, and finish work
Pull wire, install boxes, devices, lighting, and other residential components
Help with demolition, drilling, material handling, and job site cleanup
Learn and follow safety guidelines and electrical codes
Maintain tools, equipment, and organization on the job site.
