Plant People Northwest is a small, sustainable landscaping company. Our service area includes North Seattle, Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, and Magnolia. We value a very high quality of work and client communication. We also value the job happiness and satisfaction of the crew!

We seek a seasoned gardener who is experienced in leading professional garden crews to join our year-round crew, either full or part time. You must have a reliable vehicle for transportation to jobsites.

The right candidate will have proficiency in all aspects of garden care: correct pruning, mulching, and planting techniques, Western Washington weed and plant identification, and more. We seek someone with a depth of horticultural knowledge that surpasses the typical “mow and blow” landscaping operation. This is a year-round position, with a minimum of three days per week. We will work with the right person to train them in our standards and systems before placing them in leadership.

You will:

- Manage the workflow and quality of work on job sites

- Ensure that safety standards are being followed at all times

- Train and mentor crew members for skill development and future leadership roles

- Communicate daily with clients, managers, and crew

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years in professional landscaping with a horticulture-focused company

- Excellent plant ID and pruning skills

- Strong communication, teamwork, recordkeeping, and organizational skills

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and enjoy working outdoors in all weather

- Have a valid WA driver's license and a clean driving record

- Have a reliable vehicle for transportation to job sites, and a smartphone for accessing our calendar and other tools.
