Position Overview:

As an Industrial Seamstress, you will be responsible for sewing and assembling our range of packs, bags, and accessories. This role requires strong experience with heavy-duty fabrics, webbing, and buckles. For the right candidate, this position offers the flexibility to work from home with provided equipment, or you may work on-site at our Monroe, WA shop. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and durability that our products are known for.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sew and assemble various products, including packs, bags, and other outdoor gear, using industrial sewing machines.

Work with heavy-duty materials such as Cordura, canvas, webbing, and hardware like buckles and zippers.

- Follow specific product designs and quality standards, ensuring each item is crafted to perfection.

- Inspect and troubleshoot products during assembly to maintain quality control.

- Communicate with the design and production team regarding any necessary adjustments or improvements to designs or processes.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safe operation of sewing equipment.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an industrial seamstress or sewing machine operator, specifically with heavy-duty fabrics and outdoor gear.

- Strong skill in working with materials like Cordura, canvas, webbing, buckles, and heavy-duty zippers.

- Proficiency with industrial sewing machines, and comfort working with thick, rugged materials.

- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.

- Ability to follow technical specifications and work independently.

- Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to manage time effectively, especially if working from home.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the outdoor gear, cycling, or backpacking industry.

- Familiarity with product assembly and finishing techniques specific to bags and packs.
