Job Description: Courier/Driver that picks-up environmental testing samples from client’s facilities (Kitsap & Pierce Counties) and delivers them to the employer’s laboratories in Poulsbo for testing. Between client pickups and deliveries, couriers will shuttle samples between the employer’s two laboratory locations (Poulsbo and Tacoma). Courier provides his/her own vehicle.
- Looking to fill 1 Part-Time Position – Working out of Poulsbo:
- 1 position working between 15-17 hours per week / 3 Hrs on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 2 Hrs on Thursday, 4 Hrs on Friday
Compensation:
$16.28 per hour for time worked (State minimum wage), plus $0.552 per mile mileage reimbursement to cover the use of the employee’s car, gasoline, vehicle maintenance and other costs of operating the employee’s vehicle.
Based on the expected hours, the estimated wages for the Poulsbo Courier position: With an average of 16 hours per week the pay could average $1,135.00 per month, and based on the scheduled mileage each week, the estimated mileage reimbursement could average $865.00 per month. Estimated combined hourly wage and mileage reimbursement could average $2,000.00 per month.
