We are looking for strong, ambitious people that have a desire to work in the logging industry on a cable logging crew. Experience a plus, but we will train. The Choker Setter's primary job duty is setting chokers and sometimes assisting in equipment set up. Other rigging positions also available for experienced personnel.
Skills to have are punctuality, communication skills and a good attitude. Physical requirements/Work environment: must be able to carry 50 pounds and have the ability to orient, climb and traverse steep, rugged terrain on a consistent basis in sometimes harsh weather conditions.
Requires the use of standard safety equipment in regulation with the Logging Safety Initiative.
Shift is M-F 8 hours per day. We work in Whatcom, Skagit and Snohomish counties. A valid driver's license is preferred. Benefits package includes leave pay, medical insurance and 401k plan upon qualification.
