We host events throughout the year to celebrate and connect with our owners, such as the Spring Rendezvous in Puget Sound, the Summer Owner’s Cruise into British Columbia, and the Annual Christmas Party with Owners. Each Aspen boat is custom-built, and our customers enjoy being part of the build process, often visiting the factory to see their boat take shape.

As our Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager, you’ll have the unique opportunity to capture and share these moments, bringing the Aspen experience to life for our community and prospective customers.

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager will play a key role in expanding Aspen’s online presence, focusing on digital marketing and social media to connect with new customers and engage the Aspen community.

This role offers the opportunity to create engaging content by working closely with Aspen owners, boat builders, and the leadership team to showcase the unique Aspen experience. It’s a creative and strategic position with a focus on storytelling, customer engagement, and brand growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to grow Aspen’s online visibility and engagement.

Manage Aspen’s social media channels (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc.), creating and posting engaging content, including videos, reels, and event coverage.

Build and maintain a consistent voice for Aspen’s brand, celebrating our boats, customers, and events.

Update and manage the Aspen website with real-time content, ensuring it remains dynamic, visually appealing, and user-friendly.

Create content that highlights Aspen’s customer-focused culture, including their role in the custom boat-building process and their involvement in Aspen events.

Collaborate with the team to gather, edit, and publish customer stories, testimonials, and Aspen event highlights.

Monitor and analyze campaign performance across digital platforms, providing regular reports and insights to improve strategies.

Interact directly with Aspen owners and boat builders to collect and create content that authentically showcases the Aspen lifestyle.

Attend and capture content from key Aspen events, such as the Spring Rendezvous, Summer Owner’s Cruise, and the Annual Christmas Party.

Assist in designing email campaigns and newsletters to keep customers and followers engaged.

Research and incorporate the latest trends in digital marketing, social media, and boating to keep Aspen’s marketing innovative and effective.

Collaborate with external vendors, photographers, or videographers as needed.

Qualifications

Preferred: College degree in Marketing or a related field.

Extensive experience with social media platforms and photo & video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).

Experience managing and updating websites, including content management systems (e.g., WordPress).

Highly Preferred: Knowledge of the marine industry and a passion for boating.

Proven portfolio of successful digital marketing campaigns and creative projects (please present during the interview).

Strong storytelling, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Work Environment & Benefits

Location: On-site at our factory in Burlington, WA.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend work and overtime pay.

Pay Range: $28–$36 per hour, based on experience, with potential performance bonuses.
