We are an apparel agency working with domestic brands and producing apparel and textile goods in collaboration with our offshore team and partners in Peru. Seeking enthusiastic person to join our team to support the tracking of our offshore production processes and approvals. Candidate should have strong administrative & communication skills in order to effectively track work in progress reporting and procure all materials & approvals needed to secure on time delivery.
This role includes the handling of a LOT of samples and textiles. A basic knowledge of textiles would be great but not required.
Responsibilities will include:-
Tracking a WIP for assigned production projects
Procuring approvals in timely manner in order to secure on time delivery
Color evaluation (textiles and print strike-offs)
Preparing materials to send to clients for approval
Organizing materials by season
Tracking client test requirements and standards for textiles. Analyzing test reports when available (training given)
Problem solving
Very willing to train an enthusiastic candidate on all things textiles. But, organizational and basic admin skills are a must.
