Are you a glutton for detail? Do you enjoy making sure your work is perfect every time? Then we might have the job for you at Skagit Architectural Millwork as our next craftsman builder or shop assistant. It is an exciting time to get your foot in the door as we grow into the next iteration of our business.

Our shop has been growing for the last few years as the next generation of the family takes over. We are utilizing technology where it makes sense to make our projects more efficient, but still rely heavily on traditional woodworking techniques to provide the highest quality projects.

Below is a summarized version of the job Description for our craftsman roles.

Basic Duties:

Responsible for correct personal labor tracking through online payroll system.

Follow all company, local and federal safety regulations including wearing a properly fitted personal protective equipment.

Responsible for keeping a clean and organized work area.

Schedule is determined by foreman with input from the main office.

Responsible for filling out online requisitions to keep daily use inventory up to proper par levels.

Complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion.

You must have the following tangible skills:

Ability to work independently from the rest of the team, while maintaining efficiency and quality standards.

Attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality of finished products.

Have the desire to always make it right for our customers.

Ability to work under varying levels of pressure and tight deadlines.

Being punctual and reliable as we only have 1 shift 4 days a week.

Responsible for building high quality products, such as cabinets, die walls and reception desks.

Familiar with solid surface fabrication.

Familiar with and able to produce product to AWI Premium standards.

Pay is depending on experience, however we do pay above union scale.
