Grind Central Espresso is now accepting resumes for a barista. Experience preferred but will train the right person. This is a part time position. This candidate also needs to have some open availability.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is organized, responsible, punctual, self-motivated and has excellent interpersonal skills. Grind Central is built on exceptional coffee and customer service experience. We are looking for people who are passionate about performing those two objectives at the highest level.
CORE TASKS
Dial in espresso quickly and easily on a daily basis.
Take orders in a timely and orderly fashion.
Steam milk to Grind Central's standard.
Maintain a positive attitude at all times, especially when working under pressure.
Ensure shop is kept clean and tidy.
Ensure that proper end-of-day cleaning takes place.
CHARACTERISTICS
Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for coffee.
Strong attention to detail and a healthy respect for cleanliness and sanitation.
Excitement about the task of ensuring that each customer has a quality experience at our shop.
Create a rapport with customers by learning their names and favorite drinks.
Accurately process transactions on the POS system.
Communicate with all team members and management to solve problems and improve service.
Open to criticism and constantly striving to improve.
Ability to multi-task with ease.
